Our Journey Through Time

From humble beginnings to becoming a premier Caribbean destination, discover the milestones that shaped our legacy.

1984

A New Beginning in Antigua

After crossing the Atlantic with his eldest son Shannon, Italian sailor Carlo Falcone landed in Antigua. Captivated by the island's beauty and vibrant sailing culture, he chose to anchor his life in Falmouth Harbour, becoming a member of the Antigua Yacht Club and immersing himself in its community.

1986

Answering the Call

When the Yacht Club faced financial hardship, Carlo stepped forward with a bold idea: to build a marina. His partnership with the Club stabilized its future and set in motion a project that would transform the waterfront and cement Antigua's place on the global yachting map.

1989

The First Dock

What began with a single dock soon became a reality. Through determination and hard work, the marina took its first steps, offering berths to visiting yachts and planting the seeds of a vision much larger than anyone could imagine.

1995

A Growing Waterfront Community

As Antigua's reputation as a sailing destination flourished, so did the marina. The dock was extended, onshore facilities added, and a vibrant waterfront village emerged — complete with cafés, shops, and essential services. The marina quickly became the beating heart of Antigua's yachting life.

2005

Expanding the Vision

The families dream grew beyond the docks. The addition of a boutique resort and residences overlooking Falmouth Harbour brought a new dimension: world-class berthing paired with authentic Antiguan warmth and Italian elegance.

2023

Setbacks and Stalemates

A tropical storm brought a devastating fire that destroyed the marina's business complex. At the same time, prolonged negotiations with the Antigua Yacht Club failed to reach resolution, leaving unanswered questions about the future of the partnership between the Club and the Marina.

2025

Resilience and Renewal

A temporary container village ensured continuity of service for the upcoming seasons. Soon after, the property was reimagined and rebranded as the Antigua Superyacht Marina & Resort, with permissions underway for a new marina complex set to begin construction in the summer of 2026.

Still Family-Owned and Operated

Today, the Falcone family continues to guide the marina and resort, preserving the personal touch and dedication that have defined it for more than four decades.
